The incredible sharing of a brave women about her abortion experience to a friend who turned despair into hope.
Dear WHBA (Women Hurt By Abotrion),
I want to share this very special song with anyone who’s had an abortion. 2 years ago, I had an abortion which killed me inside. My will to go on died as the shame, guilt, anger and remorse set in. Thank God for my best friend who supported me through every step of the pain. She held me when I couldn’t stand; and, for me and you she wrote a song to help us heal. I called my unborn baby Jayne, and she wrote this for Jayne. I hope it touches your heart as it has mine. It’s a song about abortion from the mother’s point of view.
“I wrote this song in response to sharing the post abortion grief experience with my friend, and my hope was that it might also help others. Therefore I am very excited and pleased that your organisation might see fit to use it to help those hurt by abortion.”
Permission was granted from Miray and Crestway Music to print the words of this song in our publication.
